What PRO-ROAD Cold Mix is
PRO-ROAD Cold Mix is asphalt in a 22.5 kg (50 lb) bag: a ready-to-use cold patch asphalt (cold mix) made with high-quality crushed aggregates and 60/70 asphalt cement with plant-based additives, solvent-free. Open it, pour it into the hole, level it and compact it. It works for professional road maintenance crews and just as well for anyone who needs to fix a hole in their driveway, parking lot, warehouse yard or residential complex today.
Use it for
- Potholes on roads, streets, highways and parking lots
- Utility cuts and trench reinstatement (water, gas, telecom, power)
- Driveway edges, pavement edging and curb transitions
- Emergency repairs in wet weather and rainy season

What it is NOT for
Not a structural layer and not for paving large new areas. If the base is soft or water is pumping up, the patch will be temporary until the base is repaired. Do not apply over standing water, ice or snow.
Step by step
1. CLEAN
Remove loose material, dust, mud and standing water. Square the edges to at least 4 cm (1.6 in) deep; a feathered edge breaks away under traffic.
1B. PRIME (essential for a durable repair)
Apply an asphalt emulsion tack coat to the bottom and walls with a brush or roller and wait until it turns from brown to black. Without a tack coat, the repair is considered temporary.
2. POUR & LEVEL
Fill the hole in layers no thicker than 5 cm (2 in). Leave about 2.5 cm (1 in) of loose mix above the pavement: it settles flush when compacted.
3. COMPACT
Hand tamper, plate compactor or your car tires, from the edges to the centre, until the mix stops moving. Open to traffic immediately.
How many bags do I need?
One bag covers about 0.21 m² (2.3 sq ft) at 5 cm (2 in) compacted (a hole of about 45 × 45 cm / 18 × 18 in).

Terms of use and warranty (summary)
- The warranty covers verifiable manufacturing defects in sealed bags, within shelf life and stored as indicated.
- Not covered: product hardened in a closed bag (normal condition), damage in transport or storage by third parties, opened or expired bags, application without following the instructions (not cleaned, with water, no tack coat where a durable repair was expected, lifts thicker than 5 cm, not compacted), use as a structural layer or over failed bases, modified product, coverage claims, product without a legible batch number.
- To claim: write to info@proroadglobal.com within 5 working days with a photo of the bag and batch, a photo of the defect, proof of purchase and photos of the hole before, during and after. Reply within 15 working days.
Storage & safety
Store bags sealed, dry and out of direct sunlight. Shelf life 12 months. Hard product in a closed bag is normal, not a defect: pour it out and turn it over with a shovel. Wear gloves and safety glasses. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use.

On a damp surface yes; over standing water, no.
How long does the patch last?
With a clean hole, tack coat, lifts of max. 5 cm and good compaction it performs as a durable repair; without a tack coat, it is temporary.

Cold or storage; it is normal. Pour it out and turn it over and it loosens up.
