- Minimum order. Emulsions start at 16 MT, one full 20-foot container. Asphalt cement starts at 24 MT, one full 40-foot container.
- Storage. Emulsions keep for one year in original packaging, in a cool dry place, in the shade, below 45 °C.
Applications
Which emulsion grades fit Puerto Rico road programmes?
The best fits are CRS grades for chip seal and tack coats, and CSS grades for slurry work. Polymer-modified grades cover heavy-traffic corridors.
Puerto Rico’s road authority is DTOP, working through its highway agency ACT (Autoridad de Carreteras y Transportación).
